Do Not Go Gentle is a main story quest for Subira, added recently with the Spring Spectacle: Toadstool Tales update in Palia. It is the second quest for learning the history of the Zendruu Tree and healing the forest. This quest will take you to a new area, where you will find an angry entity. You must help the angry entity calm down. In this guide, we will walk you through the Do Not Go Gentle quest in Palia.
How to Complete the Do Not Go Gentle Quest in Palia
Starting the Quest
Do Not Go Gentle quest begins automatically after completing the “Even as a Shadow” quest. As the quest begins, Subira will ask you to find Ulfe.
Find Ulfe
Go to the start of the Zendruu Tree area and head into the path going on the right side. Here, you will come across another wall. Walk through the wall to enter a new area. Ulfe will be standing in the front. Speak with Ulfe and the others in the area.
Find the source of the Angry Voice
After speaking with Ulfe, Subira, and Tamala, go to the right side of the area. Here, you will spot a flying echo, which seems to be angry. Speak with the Angry Echoling and the others.
Sabotage the Ballistas
Now, there will be three ballistas around the echoling. Go to every ballista and interact with it to sabotage it. Once done, speak with the Angry Echoling again.
Harvest debris and Rebuild’s Echoling House
Look for the debris sites in the area and use the tools to harvest the debris. There will be three debris locations near the characters in the area. Use the Pick tool to mine the stone debris, and the Axe tool to cut the wood debris. After harvesting at least three debris, contribute the resources to the sign next to the house’s foundation. Once done, speak with Angry Echoling.
Plant the flowers in the right order
For the final task, you need to place four flowers in the right order. Speak with Subira to get a hint on how to place the flowers. Here is the correct order for the flowers, starting from the left side.
Left Flower Bed: Bluebell > Tulips
Right Flower Bed: White Gardenias > Roses
After placing the flowers, interact with the sign in the middle to check if the order is correct. Once done, go and speak with Angry Echoling.
Gather the Flowflower
After speaking with Angry Echoling, she will disappear. Now, pick up the Flowflower on the ground. Once done, speak with Subira to conclude the quest. Moreover, it will automatically start the “All That is Not Gold” quest for Subira.
Rewards
Completing the Do Not Go Gentle quest in Palia will reward you with 25 Renown Points.
