Pokémon Pokopi’s first major event is here, offering new decoration items and exclusive Pokémon to unlock. This new event is “More Spores for Hoppip”, which requires you to gather Cotton Spores in exchange for decoration items. You can then use the decoration items to restore habitats and unlock exclusive Pokémon. The Cotton Spore is an exclusive event item and only spawns in specific locations. Where to Find Cotton Spores in Pokémon Pokopia
Cotton Spore is a limited-time event exclusive item that only spawns on the Dream Islands. There are five Dream Islands that you can visit (one per day) to find the Cotton Spores. The Cotton Spores grow all over the Dream Islands. You can find them around the edges and inside the cavern system of the island.
On your daily visit to a Dream Island, you can easily find more than 20 Cotton Spores without needing to dig through the caves. Simply, summon Drifloon by interacting with any doll to visit an island, and then explore the open areas to gather cotton spores. However, keep in mind that you can only visit one Dream Island per day. You cannot visit more than one Dream Island, but you can visit one Dream Island multiple times in a day.
Where to Use the Cotton Spores in Pokémon Pokopia
The Cotton Spores act as a key currency to purchase exclusive decoration items and seeds at the shop in the Pokémon Center in Withered Wasteland.
NOTE: You can only access the “More Spores of Hoppip” event after rebuilding the Pokémon Center in the Withered Wasteland zone.
Go inside the Pokémon Center to view all the purchasable items on the counter. Select any item and ask to purchase it in exchange for Cotton Spores.
