Pokémon Pokopia’s first major event, More Spores for Hoppip, allows players to befriend three exclusive Pokémon. These exclusive Pokémon are only available during the event, but you can keep them by befriending them. The three exclusive Pokémon are Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff, and are available until March 25, 2026. In this guide, we will tell you how to befriend Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff in Pokémon Pokopia.

How to Befriend Hoppip, Skiploom & Jumpluff in Pokémon Pokopia

Similar to befriending other Pokémon in Pokémon Pokopia, befriending the event-exclusive three Pokémon requires you to build specific habitats. Restoring these habitats requires the exclusive-event items, which you get in exchange for Cotton Spores.

NOTE: You can only access the “More Spores of Hoppip” event after rebuilding the Pokémon Center in the Withered Wasteland zone.

You can find Hippop inside the Pokémon Center and all event-exclusive rewards (items) on the counter. Purchase these items in exchange for Cotton Spores to start restoring the habitats.

Yellow Carpet Habitat

The first habitat is the Yellow Carpet habitat, which has a chance to spawn all three Pokémon. To build the Yellow Carpet habitat, you need to place 4 Dandy Flowers in a 2×2 grid. Purchase the Dandy Flower seeds from the Pokémon Center for 5 Cotton Spores, and grow them anywhere.

After restoring the habitat, it will have a chance of spawning a Hippop, a Skiploom, or a Jumpluff. To be honest, it has a high chance of spawning Hippop; the other two spawns are very rare.

Field-Trip Friends Habitat

The second habitat is the Field-Trip Friends habitat, which has a guaranteed spawn of Skiploom. To build the Field-Trip Friends, place 1 Flower Backpack, 1 Lunch Box, and 1 Hoppip Water Bottle in a 2×2 grid. It will cost you a total of 15 Cotton Spores for all of these items. After restoring the habitat, Skiploom will appear near it.

Dandelion Lunchtime Habitat

The third and final habitat is the Dandelion Lunchtime habitat, which has a guaranteed spawn of Jumpluff. To build the Dandelion Lunchtime, place 1 Dandy Flower, 1 Flower Cushion, 1 Flowery Table Setting, and 1 Lunch Box in a 2×2 grid. It will cost you a total of 30 Cotton Spores for all of these items. After restoring the habitat, Jumpluff will appear near it.
