So, let’s delve into how to get these obscure Chests, their loot pool, and the quantity you can expect from opening a single Chest. I promise the latter is the most important part. Trust me on this one.

Sailor Piece Secret Chest Obtainment

Secret Chests have a 1 in 5,000 drop chance from Bosses (0.02%).

Due to their obscurity, they don’t show as a Boss UI drop when engaged in a fight, as you know, they’re supposed to be as secret…

What’s Inside The Secret Chest

Much like other Chest variants, the Secret Chest has a similar roster of rewards inside. However, their gimmick is an obscene amount of said materials.

For example, instead of getting x1 Trait Rerolls from a Common/Rare/Epic Chest, you’d get around x400 from a Secret Chest. As I said, obscene.

From what I’ve experienced, the reward pool seems to include the following:

Race Rerolls
Between 100 and 500 on average.
Trait Rerolls
Between 100 and 500 on average.
Haki Rerolls
Between 100 and 500 on average.
Boss Keys
Between 100 and 500 on average.
Crimson Heart
Higher drop chance than Mythic Chest
Shadow Heart
Higher drop chance than Mythic Chest
Infinity Core
Higher drop chance than Mythic Chest
Gold
Typically, over 1 million on average.
Gems
Between 50,000 and 100,000+ on average.

There may also be other materials included, though I haven’t seen that for myself.

How Valuable Are Secret Chests?

You might not get the hype over what are otherwise typical drops from easier-to-obtain Chests. But what you need to consider is that Secret Chests aren’t designed to be grinded. Instead, you’re supposed to encounter them at random as opposed to a familiar Chest. This gives them their value, since they’re random and unlike anything else.

Plus, can you really turn your nose up at x500 Race Rerolls? I know I can’t. I’ve been fumbling to obtain the Shinigami Race for weeks (I’m trying to obtain Aizen).

A: It seems so! Unless its pure coincidence, I got my first Secret Chest during the 3x Luck Weekend. This means that using Runes, Clans, and Titles can all influence your chances of finding a Secret Chest.
Q: What other Secret Items are in Sailor Piece?
A: The Aura Crate, which drops from NPCs and Bosses with a slim chance. Auras are an RNG-based cosmetic that applies DMG buffs when worn. But this isn’t about them right now.
