How to Visit Dream Islands in Pokémon Pokopia
Visiting the Dream Islands in Pokémon Pokopia requires you to befriend Drifloon, find dolls, and bring dolls to Drifloon. Drifloon is one of the early Pokémon you can unlock in the Withered Wasteland zone. The dolls are special misc. items you can find in various zones of the desolate island. Each doll unlocks a certain Dream Island. You can bring a doll to Drifloon to travel to the corresponding Dream Island. However, you can only visit one island per day (real-life day) in Pokémon Pokopia.
How to Unlock Drifloon in Pokémon Pokopia
To unlock Drifloon, you will have to find it a new home. You can find Drifloon at the shore west of the Withered Wasteland zone. Once you have the Rock Smash move, break the blocks left of the Pokémon Center to reach the shore. Here, you will spot the Drifloon at the edge. Speak to Drifloon to learn about its habitat, which is “Riding warm updrafts”.
Restoring the Riding warm updrafts requires you to place 3x campfires on the ground. Go over to your workbench and craft 3 campfires using Sturdy Sticks and Stones. Now, place the campfires in a straight line on the ground. Lastly, you need to light up the campfires. Find Charmander and ask him to follow you. Bring Charmander to the campfires and he will light them up. It will restore the Riding warm updrafts habitat. Now, head back to Drifloon and speak with him to unlock him.
Where to Find Dolls in Pokémon Pokopia
The dolls are obtained from breaking the shining blocks in the various zones of the island. Every zone has a specific doll in it, which you can find through exploration. The earliest doll you can find in Pokémon Pokopia is the Eevee Doll. It is located behind the blocks east of the Pokémon Center in Withered Wasteland.
How to Summon Drifloon to Visit a Dream Island
After finding a doll, you can bring it to Drifloon to unlock a respective Dream Island. You can ask Drifloon to take you to the Dream Island. Alternatively, you can place the doll down and interact with it. It will summon Drifloon to your location, and you can ask Drifloon to take you to the Dream Island.
