How To Equip Runes in Sailor Piece

The following method works on both PC and Mobile.

Open your inventory by selecting the blue INV button on the left-hand side hotbar under your Health and EXP bar.

Hover your cursor (or finger) over the category bars at the top. Items -> Melee -> Sword -> Accessory, etc.

Use the middle wheel on your mouse to scroll along until you find Runes. On mobile, use your finger to swipe and scroll.

Select the Runes tab and then choose the Rune you want to equip.

All done!

Why Was This A Struggle?

This guide may seem a little pointless, but it’s actually highly requested. So, why are players struggling so much with finding their Runes?

Turns out the hidden categories in the inventory simply stumped people. The game doesn’t have an obvious indicator, leading many players to search around the islands for a Rune NPC to equip them manually, which, of course, doesn’t exist.

What Are Runes

Runes apply a focused buffer to a player when applied. These can swap and change depending on what the player has available and would most benefit from in the moment.

These sigil-like items have unique properties not commonly found in the game, such as status effects like Bleed, Burn, and Frost. This gives Rune users the upper hand in combat, turning the tide of a fight in their favour, all because of a simple buffer to themselves or a debuffer for their enemy.

How Do I Get Runes

Runes drop from the Rune Dungeon, which you participate in via Dungeon Island, by submitting 1x Dungeon Key to play.

Theres also a very, very… very… small chance to get Runes from NPC kills.

This leaves the Rune Dungeon as the better method. The higher the Dungeon rarity, the better the drop chance for rarer Runes. EZ PZ.

Which Is The Best Rune

A complicated question, but one I think I can answer.

Wrath Rune
Mythical Rarity.+40% DMG at base, and +59% DMG at max level.Of all Runes, the Wrath Rune has the highest affinity for raw damage multipliers. This makes it incredibly valuable, giving players who wield it a chance to face stronger enemies than ever before. Simple, but highly effective.
Fortune Rune
Mythical Rarity.+10% Luck at base, and +15% Luck at max level.Increased Luck is always a good deal when trying to farm certain rare materials. Since this stacks with other Luck boosters, it’s a no-brainer when grinding.
