How to Unlock the Pantry in Resident Evil Requiem

While exploring the Rhodes Hill Care Center as Grace, you will come across many locked doors. Most of the doors will be locked from the other side, while others will require a specific key. One such door is the Pantry door in the Kitchen. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock the Pantry in Resident Evil Requiem.

Where to Find the Pantry Key in Resident Evil Requiem

Unlocking the Pantry Door in the kitchen in the West Wing area requires the Pantry Key. The hint to acquire the Pantry Key is inside the Wardrobe in the hallway outside the Chairman’s Office on the second floor of the West Wing area. It is the Dishwasher’s Note, and it hints that the Pantry Key is with the Zombie Chef. However, you cannot access this wardrobe as Grace; you have to wait until Leon’s section in the Care Center.

How to Kill the Zombie Chef in Resident Evil Requiem

Now, there are multiple methods to eliminate Zombie Chef and acquire the Pantry Key. The first two methods involve Grace, and the final method requires Leon.

Use a handgun as Grace and fight Zombie Chef. It will require a lot of ammo, but you can kill the Zombie Chef with a pistol. However, you have to avoid the Zombie Chef’s grab as it can one-shot kill Grace.

Use the Hemolytic Injector as Grace on the Zombie Chef. The Hemolytic Injector destroys a zombie, and if you inject it into the Zombie Chef, it will die instantly. You can find the Hemolytic Injector in the Examination Room, or you can craft it. Once you have the injector, crouch behind the Zombie Chef and inject it when the action prompts on the screen.

Use the shotgun as Leon to kill the Zombie Chef. Eliminating the Zombie Chef as Leon is not as difficult as it is with Grace. Throw a hand grenade and use the shotgun to easily kill the Zombie Chef.

After eliminating the Zombie Chef, you can pick up the Pantry key from its body. Moreover, it unlocks the “Order Up!” achievement.

Unlock the Pantry with the Pantry Key

After acquiring the Pantry Key, whether as Grace or Leon, you can open the Pantry in the Kitchen. You will find the following items inside the Pantry.

Stakeout Takeout Charm (only appears as Grace)

Handgun Ammo

1x Scrap

100x Infected Blood

1x 12.7x55mm Ammo (Requiem’s Ammo)

Make sure that you enter the Pantry as both protagonists so that you can collect whatever’s left.
