Escaping the Care Center as Grace in Resident Evil Requiem will require players to open the door to the courtyard. The locked door requires three different quartzes, which are obtained from opening puzzle boxes around the center. The first quartz that Grace can acquire is the Moon Quartz from the West Wing area. Unlock the West Wing Area
From the Central Hall, head to the Guard Office and open the door with a red light. This will initiate a cutscene. After the cutscene, you will acquire the West Wing Keycard automatically. Now, head back to the Central Hall and interact with the Card Reader to use the West Wing Keycard. It will unlock the door, giving you access to the West Wing Administration Offices.
Head to the Chairman’s Office
The Chairman’s Office is on the second floor of the West Wing. To get there, you will have to go through the Kitchen. After making your way through the kitchen, go to the right and first door on the left to the dining hall. Go through the door on the left and go straight down the corridor to come across the staircase. Head up the stairs and pick up the west wing area map. After that, head to the room in front to reach the Bar & Lounge. Go to the right of the bar to open another door, and the Chairman’s Office will be in front of the Gallery.
Inspect the Torn Note and Complete It
After reaching the Chairman’s Office, you will spot the puzzle box in the room. However, before you can open it, you must find the correct combination. To do so, you need to complete the torn note on the table. Head to the back of the office to find a pencil. Pick it up and go back to the torn note. Use the pencil on the torn note and start scribbling on the note to highlight its contents. Once done, you will get the following combination.
Moon, Sun, Star, Moon.
Open the Puzzle Box in Chairman’s Office
Now that you have the combination, go and interact with the puzzle box in the office. Press the Moon button first, then the Sun button, then the Star button, and then the Moon button to complete the puzzle. It will open the puzzle box, revealing the Moon Quartz. Pick it up to secure your first quartz for the locked door in the central hall.
