During the tutorial, unless you skipped it… You’ll find the Quest Board. This centrepiece of the main lobby area of Garden Horizons has an ever-changing roster of tasks for you to do to keep the gameplay loop refreshed, whilst also offering rewards you won’t find in Bill’s seed shop.

So, stick with me in this guide as I explore the Quest Board, including how it benefits you, and how this board is the secret to making mega money, even as a F2P player.

Let’s get into it.

Garden Horizons Quests

Head to the centre of the game by pressing Seeds, Sell, or walking. You’ll find the Quest Board to the right of Steve’s Selling Stand. Here, you can browse and chip away at your tasks, choosing to grind Daily or Weekly.

Daily Quests, implied by the name, refresh every 24 hours, bringing you bite-sized tasks which you don’t need to commit a lot of time to.

Weekly Quests, on the other hand, refresh every 7 days and include larger and longer tasks which you can actively or idly grind over several days to complete.

Seed Packs

Currently, there are two seed packs available from the Quest Board: the Gardener Seed Pack and the Dawn Seed Pack. Both varieties work similarly.

When held and clicked, they’ll spin for a random seed from their gacha pool, offering a variety of unique crops from common all the way to legendary finds. After landing on a crop, you’ll gain x1 seed for it.

The gachas also include a built-in pity system, so if you aren’t lucky enough to roll the legendary seed, you’re guaranteed it after a set amount of spins. How kind!

Please excuse the random dude running into me whilst I rolled for a Bellpepper…

The Money Method

And, what I assume you’ve been waiting for, the F2P money method tips and tricks. (With a tailored focus for quests.)

Look at both your Daily and Weekly quest boards and choose your order of quests based on which will contribute to both.
For example: Harvest x amount of crops quests, and earn x amount of Shillings quests.
Aim to complete these first to maximise your efficiency. At the same time, don’t dismiss money reward quests in favour of seed reward quests, as the whole goal here is to earn cash.Complete all Daily QuestsWith your new seed packs, focus on the single-harvest crops. These always fetch more profit when sold versus other crops with a similar rarity.
For example: 1x Mushroom averages 40 Shillings, whereas 1x Onion averages 220 Shillings.
Place all single-harvest crops in their own plot, away from your multi-harvest crops. This prevents accidental harvest when spam-collecting fruits.Place all multi-harvest crops away from your single-harvest crops.Let all newly placed crops sit for a few (real-world) hours or days to gather mutation whilst you’re online.
Hint: Plants will grow whilst you’re offline, but they can only gain mutations when you’re online.
When satisfied with their growth, harvest and sell! This method works best if you can keep up with it daily, letting crops you planted yesterday gather mutations while you complete today’s daily quests.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do seed packs contain new seeds?
A: Yes! You can get new seeds from rolling these gacha seed packs, which Bill doesn’t sell or stock in his rotating stock shop. This has the added benefit of letting you complete your flora book.
