If you didn’t know, the Heartopia Pet Personality that your furry friend has can make all the difference in terms of your gameplay experience. Some may be easier to care for, while others require all of your time and energy. There are tons of animal breeds in Heartopia as well, although this doesn’t determine their personality. We have a walkthrough going through all of the different Heartopia Cat and Dog Breeds that are available.
Heartopia Pet Personality
Each pet will get 2 traits, which are completely random. These traits come with pros, but sometimes, cons as well. You may notice that even after taking special care of a pet, it still acts standoffish with you. Don’t worry, that’s not your fault. That simply comes down to the kind of personality it has.
Shared Personalities
These personality traits can be found in both Cats and Dogs.
Clingy
They’ll follow you around and always be close by. However, they may damage furniture because of this.
Chatterbox
Can help you find hidden items.
Energetic
Fun to play with, but you’ll also need to play with them more.
Indifferent
Low maintenance and easy to care for. They’re easygoing and chill.
Nughty
It’s in the name. These enjoy misbehaving, such as digging holes or chewing furniture.
Quiet
Peaceful and not distracting.
Sensitive
These need more maintenance, as they require special food and are very picky when it comes to their meals.
Socialble
They love affection and getting all of the attention available. You can bond easily with them, but be prepared to spend a lot of time petting them.
Unsocialble
You don’t need to interact with these much as they prefer to be alone. They’re low maintenance, making them perfect for busy players.
Cat Personalities
These personality traits can only be found in Cats.
Slow
You don’t need to feed them much as their hunger depletes slowly.
Sluggish
They stay active longer between rests because their energy depletes slowly.
Dog Personalities
Now onto the Dog-only personality traits.
Lone Wolf
These don’t need a lot of social interaction to be happy.
Sluggish
The same name as the Cat trait, but instead of energy, it’s their hunger that depletes slowly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I unlock pets?
A: First, you must reach DG level 12. Once at that level, speak to Mrs. Joan at the Pet Adoption Centre and unlock the Cat and Dog Caring options.
Q: Can I choose the personality?
A: No. The two random traits your animal gets are random. It is also not determined by the breed.
Q: Can I choose the breed?
A: Yes, you can. The Pet Shop changes stock every day, offering different breeds of Cats and Dogs that you can adopt. Again, the breed doesn’t determine the personality trait, but it does allow you to choose your favourite based on their appearance.
Q: How do I increase my bond level with a pet?
A: By petting them, playing with them, feeding them, and training them. Your bond level goes up to level 10.
