Winter Birds are unique birds available for a limited time during the Winter Frost season event in Heartopia. These birds are part of the new Fashionwave event and help you earn Fashionwave Points. Getting info cards of Winter Birds gives you a Season Collection Point (gold star). You can get up to a maximum of 5 gold stars per Bird. It means you can get 25 gold stars from taking pictures of Winter Birds. Moreover, you can claim various exclusive ornaments and items by gathering gold stars.
Where to Find Winter Birds in Heartopia
Winter Birds spawn in the suburban lakes around the Central Square, in the center of the map. However, before you go to the lakes and start searching for Winter Birds, speak with Bailey J to trigger the quest for Winter Birds. After accepting the quest, go to any suburban lake around the central square and look for winter birds.
The winter birds are easy to recognize, as one of them is a big flamingo, and the rest are wearing winter costumes. Moreover, all of them will be inside the water. It is best to start from the northwest lake and circle around to find most of the birds in a run.
How to Take Pictures of Winter Birds in Heartopia
Taking pictures of winter birds requires the same procedure as photographing the regular birds. When you spot a winter bird, equip the Scanner from the tool tab and take a picture of it. Do not go too close to a bird, as it will scare it away. Keep the distance and use the zoom on the scanner to focus on the bird. You can start with regular idle pose pictures of the birds, and then start taking the posing photos to earn more gold stars.
