The Avenue has revealed the first official trailer for Wardriver, a hacking thriller arriving to watch starting in March. He’a a Wardriver: a hacker who steals from banks, not people — until he’s noticed. Now the money turns violent, and the woman caught in it could save him or kill them both. This modern thriller stars Dane DeHaan, Sasha Calle, William Belleau, Karina Gale, Cameron Lee Price, with Mamoudou Athie and Jeffrey Donovan. Cole prowls the city “Wardriving”—hacking from his car, always on the move—until tech predator Oscar forces him into a million-dollar heist where every line of code could be his last. Hack the planet! An interesting premise for a thriller but it doesn’t seem remotely realistic or believable, even in the tech crazy world we live in now. This looks less about hacking and more about how attractive all these people in it are.
