Gold ore is one of the metals in Hytale that is essential for crafting rare-tier weapons, armor, and tools. Acquiring better equipment is crucial, as it increases the overall chances of survival and helps you forage epic materials around the map. How to Get Gold Ore in Hytale

Gold Ore spawns in the Howling Sands and Borea biomes of the map. The Howling Sands is the desert zone on the map. The map layout is different for every player, so you will have to explore further to locate the desert zone. After locating the desert, gear up properly to face challenges, as you will be exploring for some time to find Gold Ore, as it is a big zone. Specifically, you are looking for nodes with gold metals sticking out.

These are the Gold Nodes that spawn on the cliffs in Howling Sands. As you make your way to the desert, check the cliffs for any Gold Nodes. You can mine the Gold Nodes using any Pickaxe. It does not require a specific Pickaxe tier to mine Gold. You will be good at mining Gold Ores even with your Crude or Copper Pickaxe.

Borea is the Snow zone, featuring Snowy Forest, Snowy Mountains, Icy Caves, and Pine Forest. Once you locate the Borea biome, you need to search for Mountains with fewer snow blocks. These mountains have a higher chance of spawning Gold nodes, alongside Cobalt and Silver nodes. Make your way up the mountains and check around the cliffs to find Gold nodes.

NOTE: Gold Nodes are rare and usually spawn at a low rate.
