How to Make All Festive Hot Cocoa Meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Festive Hot Cocoa Meals are special meals that players can cook during the Winter Floating Festival Event in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The event runs until January 28, 2026, and offers exclusive rewards for solving puzzles. There are five puzzles, of which three are available, and the rest will unlock later during the event period. Out of three puzzles, two of them require the special Hot Cocoa Meals to solve. It is crucial for the players to learn how to make all Festive Hot Cocoa Meals, as it will help them in completing the new puzzles. In this guide, we will tell you how to make all Festive Hot Cocoa Meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Unlock the Hot Cocoa Meal Recipes on the Floating Island

There are three Hot Cocoa Meals in total, and each one has a unique recipe. These are the special four-star Dessert Meals. To find the recipe for Hot Cocoa Meals, you need to find and loot the Red Chests around the Winter Floating Island.

NOTE: You can travel to the Winter Floating Festival Island through the Portal or by selecting the “Teleport” option under the Event tab.

Here are the locations of the Red Chests on the Winter Floating Island.

Left of the Wishing Well.

Beside the counter table with the Golden Book.

Beside a small pond in the Candy Fence area, right of the Wishing Well.

Upon looting each Red Chest, you will get a Hot Cocoa Meal recipe. Open the inventory and read all three recipes to learn about the ingredients. In addition to unlocking the recipes, there is a Cooking Station at the back of the Wishing Well. Go to the end to find the Cooking Station. You can use it to cook the Hot Cocoa Meals to complete the puzzles.

Furthermore, every Hot Cocoa recipe requires the Festive Cocoa Bean. It is a limited-time resource found on the Winter Floating Island.

All Ingredients for Hot Cocoa Meals

Here are the ingredients for all special Hot Cocoa Meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Festive Cocoa Bean: It spawns around the picnic blanket behind the Arendelle Castle on the island.

Sugarcane: Purchase it from Goofy’s Stall in the Dazzle Beach biome. Moreover, it also spawns on the island near the pond in the Candy Fence area.

Milk: Purchase it from the Chez Remy restaurant for 230 Star Coins.

Blueberry: Harvest it from the Blueberry Bushes in the Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor biomes. Additionally, there is a Blueberry Bush on the Winter Island.

Cherry: Harvest it from the Cherry Trees in the Sunlit Plateau and Frosted Heights biomes. Additionally, there is a Cherry Tree on the Winter Island.

Mint: Pick it up from the ground in the Frosted Heights biome. Additionally, it spawns on the island near the pet house.

How to Make All Festive Hot Cocoa Meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After unlocking the recipes and gathering ingredients for all Hot Cocoa Meals, you can make them at any Cooking Station. As mentioned above, there is a Cooking Station on the Winter Floating Island. Go to any Cooking Station and interact with it. You can either put the ingredients individually into the cooking pot or select the recipe to autofill the ingredients. Once done, select the “Start Cooking” option to make the Festive Hot Cocoa meal. Below you can find the recipes for each Festive Hot Cocoa Meal.

Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa

Add the following ingredients to the cooking pot to make Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa.

1x Festive Cocoa Bean

1x Blueberry

1x Sugarcane

1x Milk

In addition to using it for the puzzles, players can choose to consume the Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa to restore 1,647 Energy. Moreover, they can sell it to Goofy for 491 Star Coins.

Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa

Add the following ingredients to the cooking pot to make Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa.

1x Festive Cocoa Bean

1x Cherry

1x Sugarcane

1x Milk

In addition to using it for the puzzles, players can choose to consume the Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa to restore 1,932 Energy. Moreover, they can sell it to Goofy for 511 Star Coins.

Festive Mint Hot Cocoa

Add the following ingredients to the cooking pot to make Festive Mint Hot Cocoa.

1x Festive Cocoa Bean

1x Mint

1x Sugarcane

1x Milk

In addition to using it for the puzzles, players can choose to consume the Festive Mint Hot Cocoa to restore 1,276 Energy. Moreover, they can sell it to Goofy for 523 Star Coins.
