Why You Should Use Private Servers in The Forge

Private Servers are a great feature in multiplayer Roblox games, purely because you can play solo or invite your friends without the worry of strangers ruining the experience. In particular, The Forge only allows one person per ore, and with mining being one of the main mechanics in the game, this can get a little tedious when someone is clearly hoarding one specific rock.

How to Get a Private Server

There are two ways of joining a Private Server in The Forge. The first method is to purchase your own, and the second is to be invited to someone else’s server.

Purchase Your Own

Private Servers cost 100 Robux each, which is the standard price across the platform. While some games let you have a Private Server for free, they’re a great way to support developers. To purchase a Private Server of your own, head to the game’s Roblox page on your browser and then select the ‘Servers’ tab.

Under the section, Private Servers, you can click the ‘Create Private Server’ button. A prompt appears on screen asking if you want to spend 100 Robux. Once unlocked, you can enter your Private Server whenever you want. Plus, you have the authority to select which of those on your friend’s list can also join the Private Server!

Join Someone Else’s Private Server

Other players can authorise you as someone who can join the Private Server for free. The plus side is, you don’t have to do anything! When you get authorised, their Private Server appears on the Servers tab. You can come and go as you please, with no extra costs, and the host doesn’t have to be online either.
