Developer Sucker Punch surprised PS5 and PS4 players with a free gift. Specifically, players can collect eight new Ghost of Yotei PlayStation avatars, which are based on characters from the critically acclaimed game, from the PlayStation Store right now.
All regional claim codes for free Ghost of Yotei PS5, PS4 avatars
Redeeming the free Ghost of Yotei PlayStation avatars is very simple. Like any code, simply choose the Redeem Codes option in the PS Store. From there, input the code from the corresponding region. Those regions are the Americas, Europe/Australia, Asia, Korea, and Japan. Here are all the regional claim codes:
Americas – 8GGE-5H6P-QMTC
Europe/Australia – QEH9-3Q25-5QMB
Asia – BD8B-8C53-6CND
Korea – 6HP7-NHQ2-FJED

In order to switch your current avatar to one of the free Ghost of Yotei avatars, players will have to go to Users and Accounts in the Settings Menu. Then click Account, followed by Profile, then finally Avatar. To find it more easily, players can choose cycle to the Premium Avatar option at the top of the screen to find all the Avatars they may have purchased, redeemed, or received by purchasing a game. Just scroll until the desired Ghost of Yotei avatar is found, and select it.
It should be noted that PS5 and PS4 players do need to have an internet connect and PSN account to redeem the free Ghost of Yotei avatars.
Ghost of Yotei was released for the PS5 back in October. It is critically acclaimed, garnering an average review score of 86 on the review aggregate site Metacritic. At this year’s The Game Awards, it was nominated for several awards, including Best Game Direction, Narrative, Performance (Erika Ishii), and Action/Adventure Game.
Sucker Punch isn’t the only video game developer giving its players some free goodies during the holidays. Embark Studios also gave $10 worth of its premium in-game currency for Arc Raiders, which can be used to purchase cosmetics.
