There are a ton of new features coming to Palia to make the sim adventure feel more alive and authentic. With the recent showcase of the Palia Roadmap Winter’s Wonder 2025 – 2026, the Devs have confirmed new seasonal events, quests, Lunar Path (Battle Pass), Population Improvements, and more. Today marks the release of the next major update, following the Fall Fantasy: Home for the Harvest update, in Palia. The new Palia update, Winter’s Wonder: Home for Winterlights (Patch 0.198), releases today, bringing new Bulletin Board quests, a brand-new battle pass feature, a new seasonal event, and more.

Home Lines: The Estate
This year, Kilima Valley will feature a complete winter theme with snow cover, allowing players to fully enjoy and experience Winterlights. The new Bulletin Board theme will be Winterlights, offering four bundles to complete for exclusive rewards. Moreover, the holiday season brings a new community event, Grow-A-Snowman. This event will be available for everyone to join and participate. The Winterlights Store returns to Palia with new items. Players can now buy Icicles and use them to decorate the housing plot for further immersion.
One of the new features introduced is the Lunar Path. It is the Battle Pass system arriving in Palia with the Home for Winterlights update. As players progress through the tiers of the Lunar Path, they will unlock various rewards, including materials, cosmetics, crafting recipes, plushies, and more. Last but not least, an upgraded Tint System will be added in the new update. This new system will let players learn and craft more tint colors for their furniture items at the Tint Crafter (a new workbench). Additionally, players will be able to apply tint colors to items simply by interacting with them.
Downtime and Release Time of the Winter’s Wonder: Home for Winterlights Update of Palia
Palia recently posted a tweet about the maintenance time in preparation for the Winter’s Wonder: Home for Winterlights update (Patch 0.198), starting at 7 AM PT. The downtime for this update is three hours, so it will go live at 10 AM PT across all platforms. Make sure to harvest all of your grown crops, water the newly planted ones, and complete any main or side quests. You won’t be able to access the game until the maintenance is over.
