So, can you trade in The Forge? This guide goes over whether or not it’s a feature, and if not, how it would work in The Forge. Trading would be useful when you’re not able to get some of the rarest ores in the game, either because of their rarity or the Mining Power/Luck of your pickaxe.
Can You Trade in The Forge?
Due to the gameplay mechanics, it makes sense why trading would be a feature! However, as of right now, there is no way to trade with other players in The Forge.
What Would the Trading Feature Be Like?
If trading existed, it would allow players to exchange different ores with one another. If it works like Fisch, then handing over an ore you’ve collected won’t contribute to the other player’s index. Though, trading ores would be pretty great.
The only use for trading would be to make it easier to forge certain pieces of armor or weapons with ores that you don’t have in your inventory—struggling to get a specific ore? Trading would help! However, like most games, and depending on how the feature is implemented, there is no guarantee that you won’t get scammed.
Nothing is stopping a player from taking an ore you give them, and then disconnecting from the game without handing over their part of the exchange. But some games add a safety feature, which strives to prevent this!
Will Trading Be Added to The Forge?
At this current time, there is no news regarding a trading feature in The Forge. The game is brand-new on the Roblox platform, and trading may not even be in the works just yet.
Perhaps if players request it, then it could be added to the game in a future update. But as of right now, you have to rely on the ores you collect yourself when mining.
