You have to break Volcanic Rocks to be in with a chance of collecting Darkryte. This is the only rock type that drops this ore!

About Darkryte

The Darkryte ore is of the Mythical rarity, making it one of the rarest ores that you can get in The Forge. It has an overall 1 in 5,555 chance of appearing when you break a Volcanic Rock. As you can tell from its chance, it’s not an ore that drops frequently.

Forging with Darkryte provides a 6.3x multiplier to the weapon or armor you’re crafting, as well as a trait that works similarly to the Phantom Step ability of Shadows. The Phantom Step ability grants you a 15% chance of turning into a shadow, which causes you to dodge the next incoming attack when you take damage.
