How to Get to the Volcanic Depths in The Forge

The Volcanic Depths is a slightly hidden location within the Forgotten Kingdom. There are certain ores that you can only get from the Volcanic Depths, and they’re some of the best to forge armor and weapons with.

1 – Teleport to the Forgotten Kingdom

2 – Head towards the forge and turn left to see the Enchancer and Runemaker shops

3 – Walk past the Enhancer shop on the right and head up the stone hill next to it

4 – You’ll see one of the entrances to the Ruined Cave in front of you, but instead of walking through it, you need to follow the pathway to the right of the cave

5 – This pathway takes you to the campsite area with lots of different NPCs, including Isaac (who grants a quest)

6 – From here, there’s yet another entrance to the Ruined Cave. Head inside and walk to the right to see a wooden sign that reads ‘DANGER’

7 – Follow the pathway into the Ashen Passage

8 – Once there, you can see spikey rocks with orange patterns and rocks blocking a hole in the ground (to check you’re in the right area, there should be an NPC called Amber, who stands next to the Magma Pickaxe)

9 – Break the rocks blocking the hole (they are usually Basalt Vein). These rocks have around 2,750 HP, so as long as you have a decently powerful pickaxe, you can destroy them quickly

10 – After breaking the rocks, you can head down into the Volcanic Depths
