The Decay Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Decay is a main story quest for Tinker Bell in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is exclusive to the Wishblossom Ranch DLC and begins automatically after completing the Crystal Cavern: Pixie Acres quest. Tinker Bell prepares the player for the final stretch to save the Ranch and the Mountains. In this guide, we will walk you through the Decay quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The Decay Quest Walkthrough – Disney Dreamlight Valley

Talk to Tinker Bell and Level Up Pegasus to Friendship Level 4

Reaching the heart of the maelstrom will require Pegasus to be at Level 5. The player can speak with Tinker Bell at any time to begin the preparation to fly to the maelstrom, but reaching it requires a Level 5 Pegasus. Pet, Brush, and Feed Pegasus daily his three favorite meals for friendship points. Moreover, the best way to level up Pegasus and your horses is to jump over items.

The best way to farm friendship points for the mounts is to build a circular hedge area. Place hedges in a circle in an area and start galloping over the hedges. It will take about 40-50 minutes for Pegasus to reach Level 5 with jumping over hedges.

Talk to the Villagers for a Piece of Equipment

After leveling up Pegasus to Level 5, you need to speak with Snow White, Cruella, and Tigger. Each Villager will give you a special piece of jewelry to empower you. Once done, open the wardrobe and equip the following pieces.

Talk to the Giant Wishblossom and Enter the Maelstrom

Once you are ready, go to the Wishblossom Heart and speak with the Giant Wishblossom. After that, mount Pegasus and gallop to the wind tunnel to fly high and enter the maelstrom.

Find and Talk to Hope Wishblossom

As you arrive at the maelstrom, you need to find Hope Wishblossom, a young flower. To do so, destroy the three Decay Crystals in the initial area to activate the wind tunnel. Once done, gallop through the wind tunnel to fly and reach the area ahead. Here, you will get to speak with Hope Wishblossom.

Find and Talk to Ambition Wishblossom

In the first crystal island, there will be five decay crystals. Destroy all five decay crystals to activate the wind tunnel. Once done, gallop through the wind tunnel to go to the second crystal island, where you will speak with the Ambition Wishblossom.

Find and Talk to Dream Wishblossom

The second crystal island will also have five Decay Crystals. Destroy all five decay crystals on the island to activate the wind tunnel. Once done, gallop through the wind tunnel to go to the third crystal island, where you will speak with the Dream Wishblossom.

Reach the Last Wind Tunnel

As you reach the third crystal island, you need to make your way to the end while destroying all five decay crystals along the way. After destroying all five decay crystals, the last wind tunnel will activate. Reach the end of the path to initiate the final cutscene of the Wishblossom Ranch DLC.

The Decay quest will conclude after the credits. Moreover, it will begin the Home Is Where the Heart Is quest for Tinker Bell.
