West Virginia Thriller ‘Down River’ Official Trailer with Jody Thompson

“Something is seriously wrong… I’ve never seen him like this before.” Quiver has revealed an official trailer for an indie film titled Down River, a small town thriller made by a group of filmmakers and actors. This is premiering on VOD starting in early December this fall. It’s set in West Virginia, though filmed mostly in Georgia. A small-town sheriff and his deputy are drawn to an abandoned farmhouse deep in the coal-mining mountains of southern West Virginia to investigate a crime. Their investigation uncovers dark secrets that endanger both the town and the sheriff’s grip on reality. As they dig deeper, buried secrets and fragmented clues threaten to tear the town apart. Down River stars Jody Thompson and Randy McDowell, along with Ashley Sutton, Bethany Anne Lind, Lori Beth Sikes, & Mark Ashworth.
