Teaser for Charli XCX’s ‘The Moment’ Meta Pop Star Mockumentary

A24 has unveiled a teaser trailer for the film The Moment, the meta mockumentary pop star film made by the artist known as Charli XCX. This is set for a release in January 2026 early next year – which seems like they’re dumping it out in the January season since it doesn’t look that great. Based on her own idea, the film is about a rising pop star who navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour. Made by a music video director as his first feature film – which is why it’s all over the place and so flashy and erratic. Starring Charli xcx, Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Jamie Demetriou, Kylie Jenner, Hailey Benton Gates, Isaac Powell, as well as Rachel Sennott & Alexander Skarsgård.
