How to Run in Uma Racing

Running in Uma Racing is, undoubtedly, the most important mechanic in the entire game. If you don’t run, there’s no way of overtaking your opponents and making your way to first place.
When participating in your first race in Uma Racing, you may not know how to run instead of just walking along the racetrack – it happened to me! As soon as my opponents ran off, I was stuck at the back, casually walking.
How to Change Keybinds
If you’re not a fan of having to spam click keys or your mouse, you can change the keybinds for the running controls! To do this, follow these steps:
Once you’ve loaded into Uma Racing, click the ‘Settings’ button at the bottom of the screen to open a new windowSelect the ‘Settings’ tab, which is the second-to-last tab within the menuLook for the ‘Shift Gameplay’ option and toggle it to switch it to ‘On’
After doing this, the Shift key on your keyboard can now be used to run during a race. You need to hold down the Shift key, otherwise, your character slows down to a walking speed.
