Find the Key to the Door in the Cellar – Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Steward Zdenyek holds the key to the door in the cellar, but he will not give it up until later in the quest. After finding the locked door in the cellar, you need to speak with Steward Zdenyek. You can find him in the north of the monastery grounds. Speak to Zdenyek and ask him about Blazhena. He will mention that he has a suspicion about her for stealing food from the pantry. Moreover, he will tell you to search her room. The quest will update, requiring you to speak with Valerie, a blonde maid, and search Blazhena’s room.
Speak with Valerie
Valerie can tell you more about Blazhena, but requires a high Charisma and Speech Skill Check. It is best to wear a high Charisma outfit before speaking with Valerie. Speak with Valerie and pass the skill checks to learn more about Blazhena. If Valerie says that she cannot talk while Zdenyek is around, speak to Zdenyek to distract him. After that, you can speak with Valerie to exhaust the questions and get the information.
Search Blazhena’s Room
Blazhena’s room is on the first floor of the nearby house. Enter the house and go up the staircase to enter Blazhena’s room. Search the bedside chest and pick up the Pantry Key on the shelf. Head downstairs and pick up the Steward’s Key from the table beside the bed. This key will let you open the cellar in the barn, which you need to investigate next.
Search the Cellar
Now, head to the barn and use the Steward’s Key to open the cellar door. Head inside the cellar and inspect the wet floor. Continue ahead through the door and examine the water tubs. Now, use the Pantry Key to open the door and examine the barrels. After investigating the cellar, Henry will conclude that Zdenyek has been watering down the monastery wine to sell for a profit.
Confront Zdenyek and Get the Key
It’s time to confront Zdenyek. Go and speak with Zdenyek, and confront him about watering down the monastery wine. As you exhaust him with questions, he will ask you speak with him privately. Go to the hut at the hop fields with Zdenyek and speak with him. If you pass the skill check, Zdenyek will cooperate and hand you the key. However, if you fail the skill check, he will threaten you. You will have to beat Zdenyek until he comes to his senses and hands over the key.
Open the Door in the Cellar
Once you have the key to the door in the cellar, make your way back to the monastery cellar. Use the key to open the door to find Monk Vojtiech.
