In a way, you can think of Crystal Essence as a type of currency.

How to Get Crystal Essence in Weak Legacy 2

When obtaining Crystal Essence, you either have to rely on dungeons or redeem available codes. Dungeons are locked behind the level 250 requirement! From here, you can farm dungeons in hopes that Crystal Essence drops as a reward.

As for the codes, you’ll have to wait for the latest codes to drop to see if they reward you with Crystal Essence. Not every code will supply players with this item, and may provide other resources instead.

How to Use Crystal Essence

There are two uses for Crystal Essence. The first is when unlocking the Fighting Style, Ascetic Blaze, and the second is when purchasing a variety of potions. In Weak Legacy 2, there are 3 potions available for players:

Potion: Reset Fighting Style

Costs:
1 Crystal Essence and 500K Yen

With this potion, you can reset your current Fighting Style. This means you can opt for a different one if you’re not happy with the one you’ve been using. You still have to go and obtain the Fighting Style you want, though!

Potion: Reset Breathing or Demon Art

Costs:
1 Crystal Essence and 500K Yen

If you’re a Demon Slayer, this potion resets your Breathing Style. However, if you’re playing as a Demon, this potion will reset your Blood Demon Art.

Potion: Reset Race

Costs:
1 Crystal Essence and 500K Yen

Using this potion resets your character’s race. If you’re playing as a human Demon Slayer, there’s not much point to this potion. However, if you’re a Demon, then using this potion means you reset back to a human.

Unlocking Ascetic Blaze

If you want to obtain the Fighting Style, Ascetic Blaze, you’ll need Crystal Essence, and the completion of the quest you can pick up from the Ascetic Blaze Trainer NPC. As well as this quest, this NPC requires 1 Crystal Essence, 500K Yen, and 200 Demon Horns.
