Welcome back! Netflix has unveiled their fun first trailer for a continuation of the beloved Sesame Street series. They’re labeling them as new episodes Volume 1 in Season 56 – a “freshly reimagined Sesame Street series featuring characters you love, fan-favorite segments, and new ways to play!” The first 4 episodes are already ready to watch starting next week on Netflix. The series has been airing on PBS ever since 1970, and has also been streaming with HBO since 2016 as well. But that’s now moving over to Netflix with worldwide options in many languages. Sesame Street was created by Joan Ganz Cooney & Lloyd Morrisett, along with Jim Henson, and has been a wonderfully education show for many decades. The highly anticipated freshly reimagined Sesame Street debuts with a new season on Monday. Episodes will invite children to play along in new ways, bring viewers inside the world’s most famous brownstone, and feature celebrity guests, original music, engaging animation, and, as always, lots of laughter. And all your favorite characters like Big Bird, Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, Cookie Monster, and many others. Also recommend the excellent doc film Street Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street about how they made this series and why it’s so special. Enjoy. // Continue Reading ›
