Here are all the major features to look out for in the 3.0 update of ACNH.
Resort Hotel
The Resort Hotel is a brand-new feature that will allow players to manage the Kapp’n family hotel. Players will have to bring in new guests by decorating rooms with various themes. Dress up mannequins and place new furniture to keep decorating the rooms. It will earn you Hotel Tickets, a new currency. Moreover, players can build specific furniture items for Tom Nook to earn more Hotel Tickets. Players can use the Hotel Currency at the souvenir shop for exclusive items.
Resetti Returns
Sonny Resetti is coming back to the island in the ACNH 3.0 update. He will offer a “Reset Service”, which players can use to clean up specific areas of the island. With this handy feature, the players will not have to go around the areas to clean up.
Slumber Island
Slumber Island is Luna’s new Dream World, where players can travel through a deep sleep. It comes in three different sizes: small, medium, and large. Players can decorate this new dream world as they please. They will have access to all of their items and can change the weather as they please. Moreover, they can add bridges and inclines, and invite any island’s residents. Last but not least, the players can visit and assist a friend’s island.
Megaphone and Storage Expansion
The megaphone tool will return in the 3.0 update, allowing players to call out villagers. It will allow them to locate the villagers easily. The new storage expansion will increase the item limit to 9,000 from 5,000. Moreover, it will allow you to store any type of trees and shrubs.
New Collaborations
As players increase the island’s brand recognition by managing the hotel, new items from various collaborations will start appearing at the souvenir shop. It includes retro systems, toys, and accessories. Moreover, the players with an active NSO membership will be able to play retro titles on the systems in the game.
There are also items from the LEGO, Zelda, and Splatoon collaborations. LEGO collaboration offers the classic brick style clothing and furniture items. The Zelda and Splatoon adds special outfits, new villagers, and items. These new special villagers include Tulin, Mineru, Cece, and Viché.
