How to Get The Dead Rails Rune and Key
Let’s find out how to get both the Rune and Key in this limited-time event.
Rune
Starting with the Rune. Obtaining the Runes in the Halloween Spotlight event is usually easier, which is the same for Dead Rails!
To get it, you need to collect 2 of the Jack O’Lanterns in a round on Normal Mode. You can do this alone or with others, but I suggest doing it alone, as other players may collect them before you do. If that happens, you’ll need to get them again.
There isn’t a specific location that the Jack O-lanterns spawn in. However, many players report that they have a higher chance of spawning near buildings in towns.
Key
Now, onto the Key. You can get this by completing a round on Edison’s Revenge mode. Again, you can do this solo or with a group. This time, I suggest doing it with a group to make it easier. Make sure you select the limited-time Edison’s Revenge game mode before you join.
During this mode, every player on your server will spawn with a crate that contains 3 Coal, a Maxim Gun, and ammo. Play through the game and reach the 40,000-meter mark. A boss will appear, as well as other enemies, which you need to defeat.
A good tip is to stay high up, for example, on top of buildings. This makes shooting enemies easier, as you don’t need to get close. Escape by defeating everyone and surviving. You will earn the badge once completed!
