Obtaining the Epic Minigames Rune and Key may take some time, but I’m here to break it down and talk you through what to do. After you collect the Rune and Key in Epic Minigames, make sure you start working towards obtaining the others in different games. Epic Minigames Rune and Key Guide
Let’s get straight into it.
How To Get The Rune
Start by speaking to Steve in the lobby and accepting his quest. For this, you need to find the Spooky Recipe in a minigame. It’s easy to spot! Simply walk around until you find it. I can’t give you the exact location, as it appears to be different for everyone.
Once you have it, go back and speak to Steve. You will now need to find 3 ingredients in the minigames. However, these will only appear in specific games.
Spooky Herb
Survival or Luck minigames
Scary Herb
Versus or Team minigames
Skeleton Herb
Control or Racing minigames
After you have collected all three, interact with Steve. Then, place the ingredients in the cauldron in the correct order. If you get it wrong, it will tell you the correct order for 1 of the ingredients to help you. Once you do it correctly, speak to Steve to get the Rune.
How To Get The Key
Now, onto the Key! Speak to Steve again to begin another quest. You will need to complete quests for 3 monsters found in the lobby.
Werewolf
For this quest, you need to buy and equip the Soul Lantern gear from the shop. When you do this, speak to the Werewolf again. After, use the Soul Lantern near 5 Ghosts to collect Candies. These appear in the lobby and minigames. Once finished, speak to the Werewolf to complete the quest.
Mr. Monster
Next up is Mr. Monster. Locate the Trafigurator in a minigame. It can appear in most of them, so you need to search. When you find it, speak to Mr. Monster, and then use it to break 3 Crystals, which are found in minigames. After you do this, speak to Mr. Monster to finish!
Count Tenance
Last but not least, speak to Count Tenance. For this, you need to collect 3 Spider Eggs in the lobby. When you grab them, speak to Count Tenance again, and he will give you a minigame Choice Ticket. You will need to win the Monster Melee minigame.
In this, you work with players to defeat the boss while avoiding the attacks. It may take some time, but practice makes perfect! Once you beat the boss, speak to Count Tenance to finish the quest.
After you do all of this, you simply need to speak to Steve and place 25 Candies in the cauldron to get the Key!
