Phase 1: D.D.O. Commander’s Attacks and Their Counters
It will not take you long to understand the overall rhythm and style of D.D.O. Commander, as most of his attacks are similar to regular soldiers. However, his attacks deal way more damage than the regular enemies, and it is necessary to work your way around them to punish the commander.
Sword Slash Combo: D.D.O. Commander will do a 4-hit slash combo with the sword.
Counter: Perform the dodge to the side or back away from the range of the sword to avoid getting hit. Alternatively, if you have the Fatal Flash, dodge the first three slashes, do a perfect hit at the fourth slash to perform the Fatal Flash. Get as many hits as possible before moving away.

Upon depleting the first health bar of D.D.O. Commander, the second phase will begin. In this phase, the commander will be more aggressive, and his attacks will alter slightly. His sword slash combo will remain the same, but the last slash will have a shock elemental on it. You cannot perform Fatal Flash at it; instead, it is best to dodge the attack and punish at the end of the attack.
Moreover, his horizontal and vertical slash attacks will leave a shock radius that will explode after a few moments. After dodging the slash, you must get out of the explosion radius to avoid taking any damage.
