Fisch Headless Horseman Quests – Haunted Candle, Blazed Handle, and More

By completing the Fisch Headless Horseman quests, you obtain a variety of rewards, with the main one being the Jack-o-Blazer fishing rod! For more frightful Fisch content, read our Fisch Witch Rewards guide, which goes over everything you can obtain by collecting Witch’s ingredients.

Fisch Headless Horseman Quests

The Headless Horseman has a set of 5 quests for you. Upon completing the fifth and final quest, you are rewarded with the Jack-o-Blazer rod, which we’ve gone into more detail about in our Fischfright Rods guide.

Headless Horseman Location

The Headless Horseman stands in Crook’s Hallow, which you can teleport to by speaking to the Flying Dutchman on Moosewood island.

First Quest

Jack-o-Blazer I.

Collect a Frightful Jack-o-Lantern and give it to the Headless Horseman

Firstly, to get a Jack-o-Lantern, you need to fish during the Fischfright 2025 event. This catch has a higher chance of spawning during the Autumn season, when the weather is clear, and when you’re using Gummy Fish as bait.

Now, to get the Frightful mutation, you can either use the Spooky Rod for a 10% chance each catch or by obtaining the Frightful Relic, which provides a 10% chance of giving any fish the Frightful mutation. But, you can also get the Frightful mutation at random when fishing and if you Appraise during Fischfright.

Second Quest

Jack-o-Blazer II.

Gather 5 Wisps for the Headless Horseman

To get Wisps, you need to take part in the Spectral Tide and Secret Storm admin events. Spectral Tide has a 1.8% chance to spawn, and Secret Storm has a 20% chance to spawn!

Third Quest

Jack-o-Blazer III.

Collect a Haunted Candle and give it to the Headless Horseman

To find a Haunted Candle, you must teleport to Crook’s Hallow. While there, head towards the mansion in the South of the island. Multiple candles are decorating the mansion, and it’s your job to search through all of them to find the Haunted Candle, which looks different to the others.

Fourth Quest

Jack-o-Blazer IV.

Collect a Blazed Handle and give it to the Headless Horseman

For the Blazed Handle, you need to find Witch’s ingredients and place them into the Witch’s cauldron. This item requires you to collect 100 Witch’s ingredients altogether.

Fifth Quest

Jack-o-Blazer V.

Obtain 5K Candy

This one’s simple! You earn Candy as you play through the event, specifically Trick or Treating around Crook’s Hallow, whenever you place an ingredient in the Witch’s cauldron, opening Frightful Crates, and completing quests.
