Sony quietly added two new titles to the list of games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in October 2025. Interestingly, we predicted the departure of The Dark Pictures Anthology games back in August, but for some reason, Sony didn’t initially add them to the PS Store‘s ‘Last Chance to Play’ section.

Updated list of games leaving PS Plus in October 2025 (as of October 1)

The two new games leaving PS Plus mid-month are The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me and House of Ashes. The Devil In Me was added to the service two years ago, and House of Ashes was added a year ago.

The updated list of October departures is as follows:

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes

Battlefield 1

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition

The Last Clockwinder

Tour de France 2023

This is a bit of a puzzling update because The Dark Pictures Anthology games would have been great to dive into during the Halloween period. But perhaps, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and Sony chose not to extend their agreement because they reckon that there’s a better chance of selling them ahead of Halloween.

Don’t mind me, I’m just speculating.

We’ll update our readers if there are any further updates to PS Store’s ‘Last Chance to Play’ section.
