Mining in Palia will get players various kinds of minerals. All of the minerals are essential for crafting refined materials. One of the rare minerals that players can mine is the Whitestone, which only spawns in the Elderwood region. Players can use the Whitestones to craft a new refined material, Whitestone Slab. In this guide, we will tell you how to get the Whitestone Slab in Palia.
How to Get the Whitestone Slab in Palia
Whitestone Slab is a common refined material in Palia, and you can get it by smelting the Whitestones in a Smelter. There are various Smelter Types that you can unlock in Palia, and one of the early ones is a Basic Smelter. You can unlock it by reaching Level 2 of the Mining Activity. Once you have reached Level 2 of Mining Activity, you will be able to buy a Basic Smelter recipe from Hodari for 100 Gold.
Purchase the Recipe for Whitestone Slab
However, you would also have to get the Whitestone Slab recipe to craft it. It unlocks at Level 5 of the Mining Guild. Reach Level 5 of Mining Guild and buy the Whitestone Slab recipe for 300 Gold. You cannot make Whitestone Slab without any of those 2 items, so it is important to get them.
Craft the Whitestone Slab at the Smelter
Crafting a Whitestone Slab requires 2x Whitestone. The Whitestones are obtained by mining the Whitestone nodes found in the Elderwood map zone. After getting the Whitestones, players need to interact with the Smelter and place them inside the Smelter. Once done, select the Whitestone Slab recipe to start the crafting process. It will take 4 minutes to make 1 Whitestone Slab in a Basic Smelter. Players can retrieve it by interacting with the smelter and selecting the Whitestone Slab from the Completed Jobs Blocks.
Moreover, if you have a Heavy Smelter, it will take 2 minutes and 36 seconds for 1 Whitestone Slab to craft.
Uses of Whitestone Slab in Palia
The Whitestone Slab has several uses, including crafting various items like Elderwood Idol and Elderwood Idol IV Relics, and furniture items. In addition to that, players will also need the Whitestone Slabs during the “Up the Hill” quest for Nai’o. Other than that, you can choose to sell it to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin for 18 Gold. Moreover, you can also gift it to certain villagers who like it or who need it as a weekly want. If you craft any Whitestone Slabs, store them in the storage so you can give them to villagers who need them. The needs of villagers change every week, so keep your eyes on them.
