Palia’s world is filled with various resources that players will have to gather to use in making useful items. As players progress in the game, they would have to craft certain crafting recipes that would require Whitestone. Whitestone is a type of stone in Palia that is rarer than regular stones. Moreover, it is a new material in Palia added with the Elderwood expansion earlier this year. In this guide, we will tell you how to get Whitestone in Palia
How to Get Whitestone in Palia
To get Whitestone, you will have to upgrade your Standard Pick to Fine Pick and mine the Whitestone nodes in Elderwood. It is because the Standard Pick is not powerful enough to mine the whitestone nodes in the Elderwood region. After acquiring the Fine Pick, you need to go to the Elderwood. Elderwood is the new zone of the world map, and it is available for all players to explore. You can enter the Elderwood through its gate in the northern Bahari, between Tamala’s House and the Housing Plot gate.
Upon reaching Elderwood, you will be able to get the Whitestone by mining the Whitestone nodes. The whitestone nodes spawn throughout the Elderwood map. Upon finding a whitestone node, you can mine it using the Fine Pick. Equip the Fine Pick and hit the node until the blue bar depletes. As the nodes break, loot will appear on the ground. Pick up the loot, and you will get the Whitestone and stone. Moreover, the whitestone nodes also have a chance to drop a Citrine.
There are also bigger Whitestone nodes in Elderwood, but mining them requires a higher-rarity pick. If you have an Exquisite Pick, then you will be able to mine larger nodes. The big whitestone nodes drop more Whitestone than the regular and small nodes.
Uses of Whitestone in Palia
Whitestone is mainly required for two main quests, including The Nature of Shadows and Up The Hill. Moreover, players can use the Whitestone to craft Whitestone Slabs and Elderwood Smoke Bombs. Furthermore, players can gift it to villagers who like it or who want it as the weekly wants. Lastly, players can sell the Whitestone to Zeki or at the bin for 16 Gold.
