Networking: Connection Error is a Friendship Quest for the Gardener in Palia. It is the second quest of the new series of friendship quests for the Gardener. It was recently added with the new Fall Fantasy: Of Barns and Briars update. In this guide, we will walk you through the Networking: Connection Error quest in Palia.
How to Complete the Networking: Connection Error Quest in Palia
Starting the Quest
The Networking: Connection Error quest becomes available upon reaching Friendship Level 3 with the Gardener and completing the Networking quest. Moreover, you must complete the Temple of the Roots main questline to unlock the Gardener character. After that, speak to the Gardener once every in-game day to increase your friendship level. Upon reaching Friendship Level 3 with the Gardener, Hekla will visit you at the housing plot. Speak with Hekla to initiate the Networking: Connection Error quest.
Talk to Gardener and Einar
After starting the quest, interact with the Gardener’s Hub to speak with the Gardener. Go through the dialogues, and he will tell you to find Einar. Leave the housing plot and open the map to find Einar. Go to Einar and speak with him to see if he knows anything about Flow.
Find someone who knows about Flow
Now, you need to find someone who knows about Flow. It is Zeki. Open the map to locate Zeki. Go to Zeki and speak with him about the Flow. He will agree to help you, but requires some tools.
Dig up the tools for Zeki
You need to dig up three different tools from three different locations. The first tool will be the FlowNet Antenna, which you can dig out from the rummage piles in the Water Temple. Go to the Temple of the Waves north of Kilima Valley. Make your way to the end of the temple and glide to the lower section of the temple. Equip the hoe and dig the rummage piles to find the FlowNet Antenna.
The second tool will be the Runeworking Engraving Pen, which you can dig out from the rummage piles in the Fire Temple. Go to the Temple of the Flames and make your way to the big room. Go around the circular path in the room and dig through the rummage piles. One of the rummage piles will have the Runeworking Engraving Pen.
The third tool will be the Flow-wielding Torch, which you can dig out from the rummage piles in the Fallen Aqueduct area of the Elderwood. Go to the southwest side of the map and go to the middle of the search zone. Here, you will find a rummage pile. Equip the hoe and dig it to find the Flow-wielding Torch.
After finding all three tools, go back to Zeki. Speak with him and go through the dialogues.
Go home and talk to Zeki and the Gardener
Now, go back to the housing plot, and Zeki will be waiting for you. Speak to Zeki and go through the dialogues. At the end of the conversation, the quest will conclude.
