The Ruins is the very first puzzle that players will have to solve in order to unlock the entrance to the Senedra Forest Dungeon in Hell Is Us. Following through the initial sequence of the story, players will find an injured soldier outside the dungeon. After players help the soldier by bringing him the OMSIF Medkit, the NPC will direct them to the Ruins. Here, players will have to solve the puzzle to unlock the gate to Senedra Forest Dungeon. Ruins Puzzle Solution – Hells Is Us
Activate the Ruins Puzzle
To start the Ruins Puzzle Solution, you need to first insert the Ancient Mechanism into the small sculpture in the Ruins. The soldier outside the dungeon gives you the Ancient Mechanism upon giving him the medkit. After that, head up the ladder to reach the ruins, and you will see a small sculpture on your left. Interact with the sculpture and select the Ancient Mechanism. It will bring up three stone pillars with various engravings.
Find all the Markings for the Stone Pillars
You need to rotate each stone pillar to set a certain engraving and complete the puzzle. To find the correct pattern for each stone pillar, head into the room on the left at the end of the Ruins. Here, you will see two marks on the wall, and the third one will be broken. The first two symbols will be a Fire and an Eye. For the final symbol, if you go to the entrance of the Ruins and look against the wall, you will see the broken wall with a Pickaxe symbol.
Move the Stone Pillars to the Correct Position
Now, it’s time to rotate the stone pillars to set the correct engravings. Rotate the Stone Pillars to the following markings.
Left Stone Pillar: Fire symbol
Middle Stone Pillar: Eye symbol
Right Stone Pillar: Pickaxe symbol
Upon adjusting the pillars to the correct markings, you will feel a distant rumble. This concludes the Ruins puzzle, and now, you can head back down to the dungeon entrance. The gate of the dungeon will now be opened, and you can progress further into the story.
