Getting tired of being licked whenever you walk past one of the frogs? In that case, you’ll need to know how to tame the Frog King in 99 Nights in the Forest, alongside the other Frogs you will come across.

How to Tame the Frog King in 99 Nights in the Forest
Although you can’t completely tame the Frog King, or any of the other Frogs, there is a way to make them passive and behave in your camp.
Taming
As I said, you can’t officially tame them. However, you can trap them in your base. To do this, you will need four structures. I recommend making four of the Log Walls. Place three of them, starting with one, then two on either side, so it leaves a space. Then, walk to the water and find a Frog. Be careful, as they will attack.
Once you have the Frog’s attention, it will follow and chase you. Make your way to your camp, ensuring the Frog is still behind you, and walk into the area you made with the Log Walls.
Wait till the frog is inside, then place the fourth wall down so it creates a square, with the Frog trapped in the middle. You’ll be able to jump over the top to escape, and the Frog will remain trapped. You can do this with any structure, such as Shelves… so get creative! Use this method to set up different areas to capture them and guide them in.
Why Should You Tame Them?
Honestly, it all comes down to fun. Personally, I love the introduction of the Frogs. I find them a lot of fun, so having them sit docile in my camp is enjoyable. If you want a break from saving the missing children or gathering resources, taming the Frogs and setting them up in your base is a nice way to pass the time.
If you’re playing with friends, you can get creative and see who can come up with the best layout to keep the Frogs in. Think of it as a Frog farm. Decorating the base is one of my favourite things to do. Why not go an extra step and add Frogs?
