Nostalgia Capybara is one of the new companions in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This new companion is a reward for the Memory Mania event currently going on until September 9, 2025. It means it is a time-limited companion that players can obtain by participating in the event alongside other exclusive rewards. How to Unlock Nostalgia Capybara in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To unlock Nostalgia Capybara, players will have to complete the “Get Nostalgic!” event duty of Memory Mania. It is one of the new duties in this year’s memory mania event. Completing the Get Nostalgic duty will require players to complete the Red Memory from the event by gathering 10 Red Memory Pieces.
The Red memory piece is revealed as the player picks up Riley’s Phone (Event Item). Riley’s Phone spawns outside the Chez Remy building once every hour. It will take players 10 hours to gather 10 red memory pieces and complete the new Red Memory. As they complete the memory, players will be able to redeem the reward for the Get Nostalgic duty, which is the Nostalgia Capybara companion.
How to Equip Nostalgia Capybara in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Equipping the Nostalgia Capybara Companion will require players to open the “Companions” category. It is under the Wardrobe tab. From there, select Nostalgia Capybara to equip it. It will follow the players, and players can freely take pictures with it. Moreover, players can also house the companion in a Companion Home.
