How to Kill the Owl in 99 Nights in the Forest
When the Owl appears, it will stay still as a pair of eyes appear on it. If you move, these eyes start to turn red. However, when they turn white, the Owl won’t move. If you remain still, the Owl will eventually fly away and drop a feather.
However, if they turn red, it will pursue you and be out for the attack. It acts similarly to the Deer, so the best way to defeat the Owl is by stunning it with light or standing still.
Can You Kill It?
No, you cannot kill the Owl. Just like the Deer, you can’t kill these creatures. Instead, as I mentioned before, all you can do is flash it with light. It’s a good idea to keep a flashlight equipped for this reason.
Similarly, using weapons on the Owl won’t deal any damage or harm to it. Which is the same for the Deer! These two are immune to anything apart from light. It’s best to stay in your campsite during nighttime to avoid running into the Owl or the Deer.
If you do venture out, make sure you have a light source with you. Sometimes, the Owl will spawn wolves nearby to make you start moving. If this happens, run to camp or try to defeat the wolves.
