Cineverse & Bloody Disgusting have revealed the first teaser trailer for Return to Silent Hill, the long-awaited follow-up sequel from filmmaker Christophe Gans. Horror fans will remember the original Silent Hill movie from 2006, which Gans directed, even though it flopped at the box office it became a cult fave. While there have been attempts to do another take on Silent Hill, Gans finally came back to make the sequel and it’s ready to hit theaters January 2026 early next year. When James receives a mysterious letter from his lost love Mary, he’s drawn to Silent Hill, a once-familiar town consumed by darkness. He encounters terrifying figures both familiar and new, and begins to question his own sanity… Starring Jeremy Irvine as James Sunderland, with Hannah Emily Anderson, Evie Templeton, Pearse Egan, Eve Macklin, and Emily Carding. This is yet another legacy sequel for a long lost horror hit, though it also feels like an attempt to restart this franchise with something fresh & new.
