Disney Dreamlight Valley’s recent major update, Emotional Rescue, is live right now. It includes a new Inside Out Realm from which players can bring Joy and Sadness to the Valley. Moreover, both of the characters have their exclusive friendship questline through which players can earn exclusive friendship rewards. Furthermore, there was a plan to bring back the Memory Mania event after two weeks on September 3, 2025. However, the plan changed a bit, and the Memory Mania event began early, starting today in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
The Memory Mania Event is Live Right Now in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Originally, the Memory Mania event was scheduled to return to the Valley on September 3 and run until September 13, 2025. However, the event tab updated earlier today, revealing that the Memory Mania event has started and will run until September 9, 2025. It will last for two weeks, allowing all players to participate and unlock the Inside Out 2-themed rewards.
The premise of the event is to find three different event items around the Valley to gather memory shards. Each item drops a unique color memory shard, and collecting 10 memory shards of a certain color completes 1 event memory. Completing the memories (Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Red) is also tied to completing the event-exclusive duties.
The duties of the event will allow players to unlock Inside Out 2-themed rewards. Similar to last year, there will be more critters and decorative items for players to unlock. Moreover, this time, the rewards will also offer a hockey outfit inspired by Riley’s Hockey Team, the Fog Horns.
It is a time-limited event, and everyone can participate. If you are someone who has left out any rewards from last year, then you can earn them this time. All you have to do is look for the event items to get memory shards, which will let you complete the memories and the duties.
The Memory Mania is live from today (August 27, 2025) and runs until September 9, 2025.
