Is the 99 Nights in the Forest Poison Master class worth it? In this guide, we go over the class abilities and how to unlock them. While you’re here, why not read more of our 99 Nights in the Forest content? We’ve got a guide on the Oil Drill to help you craft it and use it efficiently.

99 Nights in the Forest Poison Master

A new 4-star class! Poison Masters begin each round with a set of Poison Armour and a Blowpipe. The Poison Armour protects you from oncoming DMG and works similarly to the Thorn Armour. As well as unlocking this armour type with the Poison Master class, you also have a chance of finding it when opening Frog Chests.

Poison Master Abilities

As you level up your class, you unlock new abilities! You must meet the requirements beforehand, though. With the Blowpipe, you can shoot out poison darts that inflict enemies with the poison debuff. When an enemy is poisoned, they take DMG over time, and you deal additional DMG to them at level 3.

I recommend also using the Poison Spear weapon, which you can find within Frog Chests and around the dock area of the Frog Pond. This weapon deals DMG to enemies, as well as inflicting them with the poison debuff.

Level 1

At level 1, the Poison Master can poison enemies, and the poisonous effects are much stronger than usual.

Level 2

At level 2, there is a 25% chance for poisoned enemies to then spread that poison to other nearby enemies once they are defeated. To unlock level 2, you must defeat 100 enemies that have the poison debuff.

Level 3

At level 3, when you attack enemies that have the poison debuff, you deal additional DMG to them in combat. To unlock level 3, you must defeat 250 enemies that have the poison debuff.

How to Get the Poison Master Class

Like all other classes in 99 Nights in the Forest, you can unlock the ability to become a Poison Master by saving up 200 Diamonds. This makes it one of the most expensive classes in the game, except for those that cost a whopping 500 and 600 Diamonds.
