Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new update, Emotional Rescue, brings a ton of new cosmetics, items, decorative items, quests, and characters. The Emotional Rescue update also includes a new Star path, a seasonal pass through which players can earn several rewards. One of the most unique rewards in the new Retro Roadtrip Star Path is a Rock and Roll Fox Companion. How to Unlock Rock and Roll Fox Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Rock and Roll Fox Companion is one of the redeemable rewards in the Retro Roadtrip Star Path. Meaning, it can only be obtained from progressing in the new Star Path. Retro Roadtrip Star Path contains several rewards divided among 7 tiers, which can be redeemed using the Event Currency, which is the Malt Shop Tokens. Fortunately, the very first tier of the Star Path includes the Rock and Roll Fox Companion reward, which can be redeemed for 50 Malt Shop Tokens.
The Malt Shop Tokens are earned by completing the daily duties of the Star Path. There are 3 daily duties that players can complete per day with the Regular Star Path. Completing each duty will reward players with 10 – 20 tokens. However, the players who have the Premium Star Path will have access to 6 daily duties, allowing them to farm the tokens quickly. In addition to the regular duties, there are also the Routine Duties. These are the new weekly duties that the Devs introduced. The Routine Duties include three weekly tasks for players to complete. Every Wednesday, a new set of weekly duties will unlock under the Routine Duties section. Completing the weekly duties will also reward you with the Malt Shop Tokens.
Upon earning the event currency of the Star Path, go into the Star Path menu and select the ‘Rewards’ tab to redeem the Rock and Roll Fox Companion.
NOTE: “Now, keep in mind that, like many exclusive previous companions who were a part of the Star Paths, Rock and Roll Fox is also time-limited. Players can redeem it until the Star Path’s ending time, which is September 29, 2025.”
How to Equip the Rock and Roll Fox Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Equipping the Rock and Roll Fox Companion will require players to open the “Companions” category. It is under the Wardrobe tab. From there, select the Rock and Roll Fox to equip it. It will follow the players, and players can freely take pictures with it. Moreover, players can also house the companion in a Companion Home.
All Rock and Roll Fox’s Friendship Rewards
