Who Won The Admin War – GaG VS SaB!

August 23rd marked a monumental time to be playing either Grow a Garden or Steal a Brainrot, with the anticipated Admin War courtesy of Jandel and Sammy.

What Is The Admin Wars?

The Admin Wars was an event hosted across games by Jandel, the Grow a Garden owner, and Sammy, the Steal a Brainrot owner. Both admins drummed up hype across all socials to rally up players to represent their favourite game on August 23rd, 2025.

Both DEVs accomplished this through the promise of exclusive rewards and never-before-seen in-game events across both experiences. But why a war?

Well, Jandel claimed that Sammy stole from him to progress his game. Sammy, of course, challenged this, which led to the Admin Wars escalation.

During the weekend, both DEVs appeared as special guests within each game, talking globally to players and fueling the altercation. This included admin-exclusive events, new pets, new brainrots, and more collaborative gear.

Who Won The Admin War

Truthfully, I don’t believe this Admin Wars was as ill-intended as some were led to believe. Before the Wars, Jandel boosted morale for his game with the help of the Elder Bean NPC, gathering troops by the millions, united by the green bean avatar. It was a fun sense of community, and it immersed players in the wars, making them feel as though they were honest troops during this event.

At the same time, Jandel changed Sammy’s name to Scammy anytime he broadcast a global message within GaG during the Admin Wards. But, for Sammy to talk globally, he would need admin permissions, which Jandel surely wouldn’t entrust to someone who stole assets, right?

This leads me to believe this whole Admin War was a fun side-project and a fun way to hype up both games, respectively, taking their player counts to all-new highs that they’ve never reached before.

In short, Jandel and Sammy are likely friends, with no animosity towards one another. The Admin Wars was a cooperative event, spanning two games, to boost morale across both and have fun with new and loyal players.
