Knowing where to go in 99 Nights in the Forest and the important locations nearby is crucial for survival. We’ll go through the 99 Nights in the Forest Map and include every important area. Before you go, find out if the 99 Nights in the Forest Story is Real!
99 Nights in the Forest Map
Each time you play 99 Nights in the Forest, the map changes slightly. Your base will be in a different area, but the buildings and key locations will stay the same. So, it’s hard to give you exact locations for specific things, such as the children, as each playthrough is different! That being said, I can go through important locations, what you can find, and how to craft a map.
Crafting a Map
You can craft a map from the crafting bench for three pieces of wood. Once you place it down, you can view the entire map and any areas you have not been to yet. This isn’t necessary to craft, but I found playing a lot easier when I have this item. Keep in mind that if the campfire goes out, the map will become invisible.
If you want to go up a step, I suggest crafting a Compass using three bolts, as this shows what direction you’re facing.
Important Locations
The key locations you need are easy to spot. I’ll go through them below and explain what you can find there.
Clinic
Also known as the hospital, you need to be around level 4-6 to access it, as it is deep in the forest. Inside, you can find a variety of healing items and loot.
Church
The Church is another location deep inside the forest. There isn’t much here, apart from the Cultists. You’ll also find crossbow Cultists here, so make sure you have a long-ranged weapon to defeat them.
Cultist Stronghold
Do you dare venture into the Cultist Stronghold? Inside are the Cultists, but valuable loot. It resets every 20 minutes, giving you multiple opportunities to raid it. Luckily, you are guaranteed to find it, as if you craft the map, this location will have an icon of a diamond symbol and an exclamation mark.
Restroom
The Restroom looks like a bathroom. Inside the stalls, there are cons, junk, and often chests.
Mushroom House
Home to the Fairy NPC! You can only speak to her in the day, and when you do, you can purchase seeds in exchange for flowers.
Fishing Hut
Normally, the Fishing Hut will spawn near your campfire. It has three blue flags at the top, as well as a pier near the water. This is where you need to go to obtain a fishing rod.
Treehouse
Use the ladder to climb inside. Here, you can find chests, junk, and fuels. These tend to appear further away from the camp, so you may need to venture deeper in.
Cabins and Sheds
There are different Sheds and Cabins scattered around the map. Raiding these areas is great, as you can find scap and chests inside of them.
