If you don’t feel like teaming up in 99 Nights in the Forest, you may be wondering, Can you beat 99 Nights in the Forest Alone? It’s worth knowing how to build a good base and what the different weapons are.

Can You Beat 99 Nights in the Forest Alone?

In short, yes, but it’s tricky. Normally, if you have multiple people playing, everyone can have fixed tasks. For example, one person is in charge of rescuing the children, another is staying at the base, another is gathering wood, and so on. If you play alone, you need to do everything yourself. However, it’s not impossible! I’ll go through some good tips and tricks if you want to play solo.

Classes

Having a class is crucial, especially if you’re playing alone. If you’re solo, I suggest the Camper class. Luckily, it only costs 10 Diamonds. With this, you will spawn with a Flashlight, which wards off the Deer and Owl.

At level 1, you get +10 reduced hunger drain, so you don’t need to worry about running out of food as much. Level 2 gives you increased visibility at night, which is always useful to have, especially if you’re out alone.

Spending Time Wisely

The toughest part about playing alone is managing your time. It’s best to spend the first day gathering wood to build your fire and obtaining food from vegetables or rabbits. For day 2, venture out to try and find an upgraded axe or bag space.

When you get to day three, upgrade the crafting bench so you can make the Wood Rain Storage and start gathering wood to put inside as a backup. For day 4, you’ll need to have a good weapon, as that is when the first Cultist raid happens.

Once you have upgraded weapons and feel more confident, you can try to save the first child. The one you save first is likely to be the Dino Kid, who is guarded by five alpha wolves. Having a long-range weapon like a Rifle is best. Luckily, if it isn’t going well, your camp is nearby for safety that you can sprint to.

Final Tips

That’s a lot of info! For a quick refresher and run-down, I’ve included the key points below.

Classes
Have a class equipped for an advantage, preferably the Camper class.
Resourses
Spend the first few days stocking up on materials such as wood and bolts. Upgrade your crafting bench and build rain storage.
Weapons
Before the first Culltist raid, you need a better weapon than the Old Axe. Chests are often highlighted in black on the map. Open them and see what you get! Any sort of gun or spear is a better option.
