How to Complete the Blues Quest in Palia
Starting the quest
Starting the Blues quest will require the player to reach Romance Level 2 with Jel. Players must reach Friendship Level 3 or higher and gift a box of chocolate or a heartdrop lily to unlock the romance option with Jel. Once done, you will receive a letter from Jel. Check the mailbox at the housing plot to read Jel’s letter, and it will initiate the Blues quest.
Talk to Jel and Reth
After starting the quest, go and see Jel. Speak to Jel to learn that he is worried about the canapes that Reth has to prepare for his mother’s party. Tell Jel that you will help him ease the burden. After speaking with Jel, go to Reth and ask him about the canapes. Unfortunately, he will not have the essential ingredients to make Jel’s canapes.
Gather the ingredients for Reth
Upon speaking with Reth, the quest will update. You have to gather three key ingredients for Reth so that he can make Jel’s canapes.
1x Golden Salmon: It spawns in the Kilima Rivers during the morning and day (3 AM to 6 PM) in-game time. Equip the Worm bait on the rod and fish in the rivers during the spawn time to catch a Golden Salmon.
1x Potato: You can plant and grow the potatoes in your garden using the Potato Seeds. Moreover, you can purchase a Potato from Daiya Family Farm for 180 Gold.
1x Wild Garlic: It grows in the wild all over the Kilima Valley and the southern areas of Bahari Bay. Moreover, you can purchase it from the General Store for 46 Gold.
After gathering all of the ingredients, go back to Reth. Speak to Reth to give him all the ingredients to make Jel’s canapes for his mother’s party.
Talk to Jel
Now, go back to Jel and speak with him to give him the canapes. All of his worries will go away as soon as he sees the canapes. Go through the dialogues, and the quest will conclude.
