There are a few things you need to do before you can get the Lotus Flower. First, you need to collect 8 Lotus Petals, which are scattered around the Outdoors. Luckily, they’re easy to find, as they emit a bright pink glow around them, so they’re easy to spot.

Once you have 8 Lotus Petals, bring them to Grampy. You can find him sitting on a rocking chair wearing a cowboy hat. When you hand him all 8 petals, he will give you the Lotus Flower in exchange.

The great thing about these petals is that they don’t take up any space in your inventory, so you don’t need to worry about running out of space. However, you can only hold 20 at once, so keep that in mind. It’s also worth noting that they’re client-sided, so if you’re playing with others, you can hold 20 each, not 20 between you.

What Does The Lotus Flower Do?

The Lotus Flower is a revive item. To use it, place it anywhere on the ground, and it will sprout as a flower.

When you die, you will get an extra option appear on your screen that says ‘Use Lotus’. If you choose it, the game will send you to where you planted it, and you will start gameplay from that point again.

This is a one-time use only. Once you plant it and revive yourself, but die again, you can’t use the same flower. You’ll need to have planted another one. It’s a good idea to stock up on this flower and regularly plant it, so you know that if you die, you have a good point to start with again.
