The Type Soul Culling Games is a challenging new game mode that pits you against other factions. Are you an Arrancar in Type Soul? You should upgrade to the Ancient Vasto, which requires Yhwach Blood.

Type Soul Culling Games

As the name suggests, the Culling Games are inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen!

How Do the Culling Games Work?

In this game mode, all factions must fight against each other, including Quincies, Hollows, Fullbringers, and Shinigami. Your team depends on which faction you’re part of! As you defeat opponents, you earn points. The more points you have, the stronger you are.

Friendly fire is activated during the Culling Games, so members of your team can attack each other. This seems a bit pointless, but I presume it’s because these players want additional points, and to them, everyone is fair game. However, by defeating members of your own team, you’re whittling down how many players can help fend off your true opponents.

Unfortunately, a match can begin even if the teams are not balanced. For instance, there may be three Quincies, one Shinigami, and seven Hollows. It’s easy to see how this is unfair.

How to Win Culling Games

The faction with the most points once the timer runs out wins. But you can use these points to purchase items from the Culling Games shop. These items include a full charge for your Mode, revives, and HP replenishment.

While you can get rewards from the Culling games, a lot of players are reporting that they haven’t obtained anything, even when winning. This may be a bug, or there may be a lack of information regarding the Culling Games rewards at the moment.

Culling Games Shop

By spending points, you can purchase a variety of buffs from healing abilities, Mode charges, and map changes. The points your faction gains reduce as you all buy stuff from the shop, so keep this in mind, and don’t spend too much! It’s all about balancing how much you spend and trying to reach the winning amount of points as a team.
